Katrin Spiegel is a vocalist, composer, songwriter and interdisciplinary artist whose work bridges music, storytelling, and nature. Growing up in Austria’s alpine region, she developed an early passion for vocal expression, composition, and songwriting. Her artistry is marked by intricate detail, warm melodies, and a profound connection to natural soundscapes.

As co-founder of the electro-pop duo Elev with producer Pit Banzhaf, Katrin explores emotional depth and modern electronic sound. The duo has released singles such as Salt On Iron, Pulse, and Everywhere to Nowhere, captivating listeners with their dynamic interplay of textures and melodies.

Katrin has also made her mark in the film world, composing music for the teaser scores of the environmental film festival Cinema Planeta in Mexico (2019 and 2020) and the soundtrack for Jump Out (2024), a documentary by Nika Šaravanja. Her film compositions amplify visual narratives with emotional and atmospheric resonance.

Her creativity extends beyond music into the physical realm, where she channels her passion for upcycling and design to craft unique spaces and interiors. Katrin enjoys transforming found and recycled materials into functional art, creating environments that reflect her artistic ethos and environmental values.

Katrin’s multidisciplinary approach shines in her cultural projects, such as socio – cultural initiative Right Thing 2 Do, Camp Nocturno, a 16-hour musical journey in Innsbruck’s botanical gardens, and collaborations with Cinema Planeta. These initiatives showcase her commitment to harmonizing art, sustainability, and immersive experiences.
